GREAT OAKS DEAN FOREST HOSPICE -  High Street - Great Oaks coffee mornings. at The Gorse, Coleford, Glos,  GL16 8QE.  Held on the first Wednesday of every month 10-12.00noon. The aim is to welcome visitors to look around the building. They are welcome to chat about specific needs, or just find out what services are available. These coffee mornings are open to everyone.

Kenya Group (Newent Community School and Sixth Form)
Newent Community School have been linked with St George’s Sianda Secondary School near Kisumu Western Kenya, since 2002, since when there have been four reciprocal students’ exchanges, as well as several community trips which have supported St George’s and its surrounding community, with all trips funded entirely by an extensive and varied programme of fundraising activities. The last two student exchange took place in March 2013, where we welcomed three students and a teacher from St George’s to the UK, and in  June/July 2013, nine of our current Year 10 students and two teachers travelled to Kenya.
