Chill Out Zone opened in 2003 as a millennium project from Newent Millennium Trust. The Trust received a Lottery Grant to buy the building. It is a Drop in Café for 11 – 18 years situated at 36 Broad Street.It opens Monday to Thursday evening in term time. It opens throughout the school holidays for two hours a day, three days a week, times chosen by the users. Facilities include a pool table, a television, fully equipped kitchen and Arts and Crafts Room. Young people have fundraised to buy lots of things and enjoy activities including cooking, gardening, arts and crafts as well as having the opportunity to chill out after school.
The ChillOut is also used as a Community Cafe Monday to Thursdays , as a base for the Walking for Health group on Thursday mornings, and as a Young Persons Group on Tuesday afternoons. If you would like to donate to this Charity please contact [email protected]. For Gift Aid Form
